This Week in Rams Sports

After a successful trip to the Abington Duals on Saturday, the wrestling team remains undefeated in regular season play. They'll hope to continue to capitalize this week before school lets out for winter recess. The basketball teams have seen some tough division rivals thus far and winter track has the week off.

Here are our top five (and only five) matchups of Week Two in the varsity winter season for sports:

1. Swimming vs. Governor Mifflin (7:00 p.m., Tuesday) - The swimming team will see Governor Mifflin on Tuesday night at home.

2. Boys Basketball vs. La Salle College H.S. (7:30 p.m., Tuesday) - The first of two home games for the boys squad will be on Tuesday against this non-league opponent.

3. Wrestling vs. Pope John Paul II H.S. (7:00 p.m., Wednesday) - The Rams are 6-0 thus far, looking to add another victory over the 1-4 Panthers.

4. Boys Basketball vs. Owen J. Roberts H.S. (7:30 p.m., Thursday) - Head coach Mike Young noted Owen J. Roberts as one of the more difficult teams to beat out this season. Here's the Rams' chance to take advantage of the home court and add another division win.

5. Girls Basketball @ Owen J. Roberts H.S. (7:30 p.m., Thursday) - The only game of the week for the girls. They do not have their first home game until after the New Year. So, they'll continue to tough it out on the road in this Thursday night division game against rival Owen J. Roberts.
