This Week in Rams Sports
A look at the top five matchups in Spring-Ford High School sports this week.

Things are really shaping up for Spring-Ford winter sports as the midway point of the season is here. Girls basketball and wrestling has arguably had the most success out of the five teams, but boys basketball has had a tough schedule, and winter track is immeasurable in the wins-losses column. Regardless, it should be a fun week to watch sports, as we've got some great games on hand. Here are the top five matchups:
1. Girls Basketball @ Upper Dublin (Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.) - The girls are on a roll this season! With only two losses and coming off a big non-league victory over Mount St. Joseph's Academy, they'll hit the road to face 11-2 Upper Dublin on Tuesday night, after a three-day weekend. This should prove to be another fantastic matchup for the Lady Rams.
2. Boys Basketball vs. Pope John Paul II (Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.) - The boys, back above .500 with a weekend smashing over North Penn, have been waiting all season for this one - a rematch with division rival and 2010-11 PAC-10 Champion . The Panthers are 10-5 so far this year, while the Rams are 8-7. But, with revenge in their eyes, the Rams should play hard on Tuesday night.

3. Wrestling @ Perkiomen Valley (Wednesday, 6:30 p.m.) - Perkiomen Valley is 5-4 this year, while the Rams only have one loss. It shouldn't be a difficult one for the Rams, but they won't be looking past this matchup.
4. Girls Basketball @ Pope John Paul II (Thursday, 7:30 p.m.) - PJPII is 9-7 so far and the girls will be coming off a tough non-league game. Could be an interesting one.

5. Boys Basketball @ Pottstown (Friday, 7:30 p.m.) - Pottstown has an 8-6 record. This may prove to be a pretty even matchup for the Rams. However, the Spring-Ford boys have had a lot of success in PAC-10 games, so don't be surprised either if it comes out lopsided in favor of the away team.
