Touchdown Club to Host Second Annual Taste of Spring-Ford

Last year's event drew close to 1,500 people and there are even more events at the fundraiser this year.

The "Touchdown Club's" Second Annual Taste of Spring-Ford is back by popular demand! Come out and taste the best of the best from over 20 local restaurants.

Mark your calendar for Thursday evening, Nov. 3 for an evening of great food, fun and entertainment for all ages.

The event will take place at from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students and seniors over 65, $20 for adults, and children five and under are free.

Advanced ticket purchase is recommended. You can buy your ticket at the game on Oct. 22 or at any of the schools in the district.

"There will also be the 'Marketplace' where attendees will be able to purchase different items from various athletic teams," Smiley said. "Lots of entertainment for the kids: Pros vs. Joes, tug of war, diaper derby just to name a few. And new for this year, a Pie eating contest featuring the Spring-Ford football coaches!"
