Traffic Light Out At Limerick Exit Of U.S. 422

A traffic light has been reported out by the Limerick exit of U.S. 422 at about 6 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Motorists approaching the area are asked to exercise extreme caution.

Traffic on many sections of 422 eastbound and westbound have been intermittently at a standstill for much of the afternoon, especially since severe storms began around 5 p.m.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes of 422 were closed near Pottstown after wires fell at about noon. The lanes did not open up until the early evening.
