Train Hits Vehicle In Royersford
A vehicle was struck by a train in Royersford Monday night.
ROYERSFORD, PA — A Norfolk Southern train rammed into an unoccupied vehicle Monday night in Royersford, grinding the engine to a halt and leading to road closures in the area.
The incident occurred at around 8 p.m. near Arch Street and 2nd Avenue.
Circumstances leading up to the incident are not yet clear, however authorities confirmed that no one was hurt.

It is not yet known why there was an unoccupied car on the tracks.
The halted train blocked both Arch Street and Main Street to traffic, and emergency crews cordoned off the area for hours as they responded to the scene.
