Vehicle Crashes Into Trees Off 422 Near Royersford

LIMERICK, PA — Traffic was impacted on U.S. 422 Sunday when a vehicle crashed into the woods near the Royersford exit.

The incident occurred at 1:58 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

One vehicle lost control in the eastbound lane and swerved off into nearby trees.

Traffic was slowed as the accident was investigated and cleared.

First responders attended to one of the occupants in the vehicle, but no serious injuries were reported.

Linfield Fire Company, Limerick Fire Company, Trappe Fire Company EMS and Friendship EMS all responded to the scene.
