Vehicle Flips Over During Route 422 Crash Near Royersford: Authorities

BREAKING: A vehicle flipped over Saturday afternoon during a crash on Route 422 near Royersford, authorities said.

ROYERSFORD, PA -- A vehicle flipped over Saturday afternoon during a crash on Route 422 near Royersford, leading to injuries to the driver, authorities said.

The incident occurred shortly before 12:11 p.m. on Saturday.

It's not yet clear what caused the accident.

When first responders arrived, the vehicle was in the median and was overturned. The driver was standing nearby and refused medical treatment for his injuries, authorities said.

Crews from the Royersford Fire Department, Black Rock Fire Company Station 99, Friendship Ambulance 325, and Trappe Ambulance all responded to the scene.

Traffic was slowed during the incident.

No other injuries were reported.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the accident.
