Viewfinder: Spring-Ford Ice Hockey Club holds heads high in defeat

Central Bucks East 6, Spring-Ford 0

Spring-Ford's run to the Flyers Cup ended Thursday night with a 6-0 loss to second-seeded Central Bucks East in the semifinal game.

The Rams took the ice with a fury, hitting everything that moved.  Early in the game, the team thought it had taken a 1-0 lead on a goal by Tyler Hoffman.

The referees waved off the goal, ruling that the the had become dislodged.  The momentum shifted and the Rams never fully recovered en route to a 6-0 loss that ended a watershed season.
