Water Main Break Shut Down Main Street In Royersford

ROYERSFORD, PA — A water main break has shut down Main Street in Royersford Thursday morning.

The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. near 4th Avenue.

"Please avoid the area and use alternative routes if possible," police shared in a statement.

Nearby drivers are being redirected to Walnut Street and Church Street. Police said traffic will be closely monitored on these streets for speeding and stop sign compliance.

Crews are at the scene of the water main break. It's not yet clear when Main Street will be reopened.
