Winning $1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In Montgomery County

Breaking: A winning lottery ticket worth $1 million has been sold in Montgomery County, lottery officials announced.

A winning lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold in Montgomery County recently, lottery officials announced Monday.

The ticket sold in Pottstown was one of four winning numbers sold around the state. Altogether the drawing, the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle, awarded a total of $5,089,200.

The winning ticket in Montgomery County was sold at Pat's Beverages on 1423 E. High St. in Pottstown, the lottery said. Pat's will receive $5,000 for selling the ticket.

The three other winners were sold in Northampton County, Butler County and Columbia County.

Winners should file a claim, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lottery headquarters. Claims can also be filed at local offices from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
