Woman Raped In Upper Providence: Cops
A man has been arrested after violently raping a woman in Upper Providence, police said.

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — A man has been arrested after violently raping a woman in Upper Providence, police said.
The incident occurred on Saturday, Oct. 6 at a nearby home.
Jesse Acampora, 34, met the victim the night before the incident, according to police.

The resulting investigation led to Acampora's arrest at his residence on Nov. 21.
Bail was set at $500,000, which Acampora did not post. He was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

He faces charges of rape by force, rape of an unconscious or unaware person, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with an unconscious or unaware person, sexual assault, strangulation, unlawful restraint, simple assault, and reckless endangerment.
A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
