Woman Shoots Neighbor, Then Herself In East Vincent: DA
Breaking: A woman shot her neighbor several times, then set her apartment on fire and turned the gun on herself, authorities said.

EAST VINCENT TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman shot her neighbor several times in East Vincent early Tuesday, then set her apartment on fire and turned the gun on herself, authorities said. Both are being treated at the hospital.
The incident occurred at the Whitehall Apartments, a veterans community located 3795 Schuylkill Road.
The District Attorney's Office said that the victim, a man, was leaving his apartment across the hall at around 6:20 a.m. when the suspect opened fire. It was not immediately clear what led to the shooting.

Her bullets hit the man several times in the legs and back, authorities said. The man fled and managed to make it outside, where he collapsed on the grass behind the building.
The woman then barricaded herself in her apartment, set her bedroom on fire, and shot herself in the head, the DA said.

The sprinkler system activated and put out the fire.
Both the suspect and victim were taken to Paoli Hospital, where they are being treated. Their conditions are unknown.
