• Police news – Sept. 15 (lockhaven.com) — State police detail several recent incidents affecting Lock Haven-area residents, including a two-vehicle crash in Lock Haven that sent a 98-year-old city resident to the hospital. Other reports cover crashes in Mill Hall and Renovo, underage drinking and furnishing alcohol to minors, a DUI-related accident, and fleeing-vehicle cases on local roads frequently used by Lock Haven drivers.
   

• Royals & Bald Eagles break program records (2822news.com) — Lock Haven University golf standout Hanna Kopec set a new program single-round record with an 80 at the Dickinson Fall Invitational, edging past a mark set just last year. Teammate Macy Trostle also broke the old record with an 83, while the University of Scranton men's team posted its own record-setting round in a separate event.
