1. Pre-ceremony emotion
Before the ceremony, you’ll probably have a lot on your mind — namely marrying your best friend — making this the perfect time for your photographer to capture emotion including candid smiles and one of a kind expressions.

2. Getting ready
The private moments before the ceremony while you’re getting ready — whether stepping into your dress or having your makeup done — is one of the most exciting parts of the day. Capture the anticipation.

3. The Dress
Your wedding dress — the one you found after months (years?) of searching or the one you stumbled upon at a sample sale — will be a focal point of the day.

4. Your Hair
Capture your wedding day look. Style photos like one of your hair perfectly pinned back (before you’ve danced the night away) are must-haves.

5. The Portrait
Once you’re all put together, you’re going to want an I-look-amazing-and-I-know-it shot (trust us, you will!). This is the portrait.

6. The Rings
No matter how it’s staged, a good shot of your wedding bands is essential!

7. The Vows
A handwritten sign-of-the-times shot of wedding vows or one typed on an iPhone or tablet is a touching addition to the photo album. 

8. Family
Family sharing your special day. 

9. Best Buds
He’s your very best friend or she’s your sister (or both!), and you asked him to be your best man or maid of honor for good reason. A shot of the two of you together for the album is a no-brainer.

 10. The Only-At-Your-Wedding Detail Shot
Maybe you decided to have your dog prance down the aisle as ring bearer or you’re going to plant a tree in front of all your friends and family during the ceremony.
