Mackenzie Invites Seniors Citizens for Flu Shots and More at Senior Expo

Rep. Ryan Mackenzie is co-hosting a Senior Expo on Friday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Luther Crest in Allentown.

Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Berks/Lehigh) is partnering with Luther Crest and St. Luke’s University Health Network to co-host a senior expo on Friday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“The senior expo is an opportunity for area senior citizens and those who are caring for an aging loved one to examine the local services and support available for older Pennsylvanians,” said Mackenzie.  “We are expecting dozens of quality vendors at this year’s event, and I am looking forward to personally meeting with the attendees to discuss their concerns about state government.”

The free event, which will take place at Luther Crest, located at 800 Hausman Road in Allentown, will feature:

  • Flu shots.
  • Health screenings.
  • Vision tests.
  • Local senior service organizations.
  • Nonprofit groups.
  • State and local government agencies.

Mackenzie noted that free flu shots will be available for all attendees, and anyone wanting a flu vaccine should bring his or her Medicare card, if applicable.
