This Week at the Library: Almost Summer

Keith Brintzenhoff is coming to share about German Music, Dance and Instruments as part of an event co-sponsored by the PA Humanitites Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities

We’re getting into the home-stretch before summer, so there are a whopping FIVE programs this week! So take advantage of them! But we know that a lot of people are finishing up school years and spring sports and planning summer vacations, but once the summer kicks off, we’ll help keep you busy!

One big program we have coming up is Tuesday night.

The Pennsylvania Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities have sponsored a presentation on "German Music, Dance and Instruments" by Keith Brintzenhoff. Brintzenhoff has performed in German and English for over 40 years throughout the East Coast and even in Germany and Switzerland!

He's the President of the Kutztown Folk Music Society and his performances are described as lively and humorous. The program starts at 6pm tomorrow and requires advanced registration, as we are required to have a minimum attendance. Please contact the library ASAP if you'd like to register! But it sounds like a great program, and if the weather’s like it is today, a great activity for the evening!
