This Week at the Library: April Fools!
This week at the library... no April Fools pranks, but plenty of programs!

April Fool’s Day. I don’t typically try to prank people, nor do I like to be pranked… however, I came up with a really good idea to prank my best friend this year and make her think that my fiancé and I eloped. I’ll try that tonight, and hopefully it doesn’t lose me my matron of honor! ;) Otherwise, I’m pretty tame with April Fools. I look forward to seeing what Google comes up with every year… my personal favorite (and what I was wishing they’d actually make happen) from a couple of years ago was a “take back” button for emails. If you were a little trigger-happy and sent your email too quickly and rethought it, you had 6 seconds or so during which you could “pull it back”. Some smart Google person should get on that for real! They’re always entertaining, so if you haven’t checked out their April Fool’s joke, you should! It smells great ;)
As for the library, no April Fools, but we do have April programs. This week begins the last of regular school year programming. This month is the last for the elementary school age monthly classes, and also this month will be the last of the regular school year storytimes before we transition to drop-bys. But there’s more than children’s programs going on…

Tuesdays: 4 year old storytimes, 10:30am and 12:30pm. Advanced registration is required for storytimes, as there’s a limit to how many kids I can fit into the program room, plus advanced registration helps me prepare for the right number of kids… not ending up “short” or wasting craft supplies when people don’t show, and there’s an age cutoff date of 9/12 based on the East Penn School District
