This Week at the Library: 'Canawling'

This week at the library: storytimes and computer classes!

We had a great week celebrating National Library Week last week, but as a reminder, the raffle is going on all month! $2/ticket or $5/3 tickets gets you in the running for a 42” HDTV, Kindle Fire or a couple of great gift cards to places like Wegman’s, Walmart or Texas Roadhouse. On top of a chance for these great prizes, you are helping support the library!

Another great way to support the library is by Saving the Date for the next Friends’ Book Sale… Thursday night, May 2, is the Friends’ Preview, then the Sale runs May 3 and May 4. On Tuesday, May 7 to coordinate with the Community Center-wide Community Day event, there will be a bag sale! New this year: for your $5 bag sale purchase on Tuesday, the Friends’ are providing free totes! $5 gets you a nice red tote and all the books you can fit in it!

Now back to this week’s programs…

This week at the library:

Tuesdays: 4 year old storytimes, 10:30 a.m and 12:30 p.m. Advanced registration is required for storytimes, as there’s a limit to how many kids I can fit into the program room, plus advanced registration helps me prepare for the right number of kids… not ending up “short” or wasting craft supplies when people don’t show, and there’s an age cutoff date of 9/12 based on the East Penn School District
