Visit Local Veterans Memorials on this Beautiful Day

Take a moment to visit one on these on this beautiful Veterans day! Here are some photos I took today on a walk visiting the 3 memorials within walking distance of my office. I met some neat people along the way including Arthur Kern of Allentown who stopped at the Macungie VFW to visit his service brick. Arthur served in WWII.

Here are the local memorials:

1. Macungie Memorial Park - Main and Walnut Street, Macungie PA

2. Lower Macungie Veterans Memorial - This was an Eagle Scout Project by local Scout Derek Weber. He coordinated volunteers and raised funds for construction. his family helps maintain the beautiful ribbon memorial in pristine condition.

3. Macungie VFW post 9624 - A large memorial located at 287 Lehigh Street Macungie
