Burglary Reported in Lower Macungie Township

An absent-minded homeowner might run out for a brief errand and forget to close a door. But even the most forgetful of homeowners isn't likely to run out for an hour leaving more than one door ajar.

Such was the case for a woman living in the 3600 block of Kneer Drive who reported to police that she returned home on May 7 to find both the door into the residence and her garage door open.

There was no sign of forced entry, according to Pennsylvania State police at Fogelsville. Nothing was reported stolen.

Police are calling the incident, which happened between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., a burglary.
