The Mud Club of Emmaus high school is producing stoneware bowls while community restaurants are donating their delicious soups, local grocery stores bestow gift cards, a nearby bakery offers fresh baguettes, and Macungie Institute furnishes the location for Mud Club's second annual Empty Bowls Event. The Community is invited to come to the Institute, choose from a selection of handmade bowls, serve up your favorite soup from a variety, sit down and enjoy it with some bread and a friend. Pay a $20.00 donation and you take the bowl home as a remembrance. All money goes to the Angel Networks Food Program.
