Female Mascot 'Groped' by Teen Boys, Police Say
The woman was working in costume at a Lower Macungie business when two 17-year-olds 'rushed' her, troopers report.
What may have begun as fun -- perhaps just teasing -- didn't turn out that way for anyone involved in a recent alleged altercation in Lower Macungie Township.
Two 17-year-old boys began messing with a woman working as a mascot for a business in the complex near Walmart at 1091 Mill Creek Road. Their actions at the Mill Creek Shopping Center turned to groping and police charges, according to state police at Fogelsville.
The two teens, whose names were not made available by police because they are juveniles, "rushed" the mascot about 2 p.m. Feb. 23 and began to grope the costume, police said. The female mascot, whose name was given by police but will not be used by Patch because of the nature of the allegations, was not reportedly injured.

Harassment charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Faulkner of Upper Macungie Township. However, no associated paperwork was released by that office because the alleged offenders are juveniles.
