Thank you to EVERYONE for a hugely successful event! Hosfeld Insurance, LLC and InsuranceChix.com hosted our Perfect Pedigree Purse Party at Boston’s Restaurant on Wednesday 9/25/13, benefiting the no-kill shelter in Coopersburg, Animals In Distress.
We received the Erie Insurance “Giving Agency of the Year” award a few months ago. We included that $2,500 cash prize in our “grand total” for monies we donated to the shelter. The rest came from the monies received through the sale of new/gently used purses donated by the community, a percentage of food sales at Boston’s, a profit percentage from our vendors (Freckle Face Fudge and Lisa Boland Jewelry Designs), and the raffles/auction items donated by so many generous businesses in our area!
Bottom line….drumroll, please: We have presented a grand total of $6,820 to the shelter for their ongoing expenses in caring for the dogs and cats.
