Macungie Woman Wins Oil Painting by Artist Bob Boehmer

A Macungie resident recently learned that she is the lucky winner of an original oil painting by artist Bob Boehmer, put up for raffle during the Sixth Annual SnowBlast Winter Festival.

Fran McDonnell purchased a raffle ticket during the festival and representatives from the Emmaus Arts Commission recently pulled her winning ticket from among the donations received during the festival, held Feb. 3-4.

The painting won by McDonnell illustrates a snowy winter scene, and was on display in the Clock Building during the SnowBlast Community Art Project on Feb. 4.

Donations received through the painting raffle will be used to help offset costs of future Emmaus Arts Commission events.
