Making Fastnachts at the Goodwill Fire Company in Trexlertown
Volunteers bake more than 3,000 dozen of the traditional spring donuts. That's 36,000 donuts!
It's Fat Tuesday, Shrove Tuesday, Mardi Gras, call it what you will. But Lent begins tomorrow, Ash Wednesday, and goodies such as these traditional fried cake-y treats are supposed to be few and far between.
