Police: Kohl's Employee Steals From Store
Blandon woman allegedly puts merchandise in purse in early-morning incident, state police say.
State police are reporting an incident of 5:30 a.m. shoplifting, in this case allegedly involving an employee of Kohl's department store in Lower Macungie.
A state police fax says Ashley Brooke Fry, 30, of Blandon, Berks County, was at the store at 5:30 Thursday morning when she allegedly placed merchandise in her purse while on a work break, then later left the store without paying.
The fax says a charge a retail theft will be filed with District Judge Michael Faulkner of Upper Macungie. The Kohl's store is at 6900 Hamilton Blvd. The fax does not describe the kind of merchandise or its value.
