Police Seek Vehicle That Was Hit in Lower Macungie Hit-and-Run

Crash was last Friday morning at Route 100 and Aster Road.

State police are looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash in Lower Macungie last week, but in this case the vehicle they want to find did not cause the crash.

A state police fax said the vehicle that fled was on Route 100 shortly before 9am last Friday (Jan. 10) when a westbound car on Aster Road slid on snow, wasn't able to stop at the Route 100 intersection and hit the rear of the unknown vehicle.

The car that slid was a 1992 Buick Century driven by Paul S. Voros, 29, of Macungie, the fax said. Voros, who was wearing a seat belt, was not charged, the fax said.

The fax had no information about the fleeing vehicle such as car or truck, make and model.
