Registering to Give Blood Could Make You $500 Richer
Scheduling an appointment to donate blood at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center on Tuesday earns you a chance to win a $500 Visa Card.
Lower Macungie Township is hosting a blood drive Tuesday at the Lower Macungie Community Center and, according to an email from the township, there's a pretty big incentive for making for an appointment to donate -- the chance to win a $500 Visa Card.
Potential donors can call 610-966-6924 to book an appointment, the email says, although walk-ins also are welcome.
Pre-booking an appointment to donate means, "you don't have to wait in line," the email explains. Oh, and then there's that chance at the $500.
The blood drive is scheduled from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the Lower Macungie Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road.
