Maureen Jagier Skinner, age 57, of Lake Bluff, IL, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2018 after a courageous 3-year battle against Ovarian cancer. Beloved wife of Jeffrey Skinner, loving mother of Shannon and Meghan Skinner. She is survived by her mother Sheila Garrity (Tom) Douglas and sisters Eileen Kozlowski and Kathleen (Jim) Heinz. Preceded in death by her father Norman Jagier. Maureen was an accomplished news anchor-reporter in Green Bay, WI, for many years before returning to Illinois where she met her husband and started their family. Maureen had a magnetic personality, was a genuine friend to all, and loved spending time with her entire family. Visitation 4pm to 8pm on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Ave., Lake Forest. Funeral Mass 10AM on Jan. 5, 2019 at the Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest.
