State Police Seek Hit-and-Run Vehicle in Pre-Christmas Crash

Vehicle that may be red in color hits parked car outside Kohl's in Lower Mac, keeps going, police say.

State police are looking for a vehicle that may be red in color that hit a parked car outside Kohl's department store in Lower Macungie a few days before Christmas and kept going.

The owner of the hit car, a 2003 Ford Taurus, was inside shopping at Kohl's when his/her car was struck in the front parking lot, a state police fax says.

The incident, which occurred between 10:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Dec. 21, a Saturday, involved "minor impact," the fax says.

The hit-and-run vehicle may be red because of minor paint transfer found on the Taurus, the fax says.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.
