The Bob cut is certainly a classic. I found the Bob cut dates back as far as the late 1890's. A French actress wearing it. Back then it was not considered respectable, women wearing their mane long. Like Laura Ingalls. It wasn't till the 1920's when the Bob finally would become all the rage in hair fashion. Since then there has been many variations of the classic Bob. It's all the rage again, especially in suburbia Americana. I must be frank and say it is not the 'In" look in New York. That is reserved for the girl with very long locks.
