Lower Macungie Middle School presents its spring musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie" which opens at 7:30 p.m. today.

Other performances include 7:30 p.m. April 1 and one at 2 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m. on April 2.

Directed by Patrick Campbell, the show follows the adventures of Millie, a small-town girl who heads to New York in the Roaring 20s with dreams of making it rich by marrying for money, not love.  But she soon learns that not all is what it seems in this Tony Award-winning show based on the Julie Andrews movie.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for kids under 14 and seniors over 60. They can be ordered online or by phone at 610-395-8593 ext 26212. Tickets will also be available at the door.
