Key to Awesomeness:  Justine did her project on the “Effect of pH Level on Corrosion of Common Metals.”  She wanted to know if the pH level of a substance would affect common metals soaking in that substance.

“I measured the amount of corrosion occurring on the metal by the amount of mass lost from the metal,” she said.  Justine found the pH level of certain substances does affect corrosion of some metals.

Justine’s favorite subject is science.  She is a member of the orchestra and the National Junior Honor Society at school.  She also enjoys playing the piano, basketball, tennis and animals.

She plans to be either a teacher or a dermatologist.  She would also like to be a music/art therapist someday.  Her choice of a college depends on her choice of occupation, she said.
