Video: Low Voter Turnout Reported at Lower Moreland Polls
No lines and no waits were reported on primary election day in Lower Moreland.
Between the seven voting Wards in Lower Moreland and Bryn Athyn all reported lower than usual turnout for Tuesday's primary election.
By 5 p.m. at the Huntingdon Valley Methodist Church, the Ward 5 polling place, only 71 people had come out to vote.
Bryan Lowes, Judge of Elections for the Ward said in past elections they would have been over 100 voters at 5 p.m.

Many voters who spoke to Patch today said that the weather and lack of highly contested elections most likely kept people away from the polls.
