1 Injured, Some Without Power After Truck Crashes In Lower Providence: Cops
A truck crash in Lower Providence led to one injury and serious infrastructure damage on Thursday morning.

Update: the driver of the truck has passed away.
LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — A truck crash in Lower Providence led to one injury and serious infrastructure damage on Thursday morning, police said.
The incident occurred sometime around 3 a.m. on the 500 block of South Park Avenue, according to authorities.

Lower Providence Police said that the truck, which was carrying milk, lost control and hit a utility pole on the road, leading to several downed wires.
Many homes in the area were without power after the accident as PECO worked to repair the poles.

South Park Avenue was closed Thursday morning as the accident was cleared and investigators arrived on the scene.
