15 Miles Of PA Turnpike To Be Closed Outside Philly
The Pennsylvania Turnpike will be closed in both directions outside of Philadelphia beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

A 15 miles stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike which is largely in Chester County will be shut down for a bridge construction beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, according to the Turnpike.
The closure will be in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19, officials said.
The road will be closed in both directions from Downingtown to Valley Forge, or mile posts 311.9 to 326.6.

Additional beams are being installed at the bridge on Yellow Springs Road.
Officials said that closure was necessary for the safety of both drivers and construction workers.
