TRAPPE, PA — Italian Delite Pizzeria and Restaurant in Trappe is still awaiting its final score from Dave Portnoy after he swung through as part of his "One Bite" pizza ranking tour last week.
The Barstool Sports founder has reviewed thousands of eateries around the country on a 1-10 scale with a trademark brusque commentary.
Reviews are usually done immediately, on the spot, and sometimes away from the eyes of owners, but video recordings of the reviews are sometimes not immediately released.
Portnoy visited four other Philadelphia area shops last week in addition to Italian Delite: Johnny's Pizza in Bryn Mawr (scored 8.3), Liguria Pizzeria in Kensington (8.2), Marina's Pizza in Fishtown (7.9), and Pizza Di Vita in Fairless Hills (score not yet released).
The visit to Italian Delite came after owner Giuseppe Tosco put out a huge WE WANT DAVE PORTNOY sign in front of the restaurant for over a year. The eatery also launched a social media campaign to attract his attention.

His top ranked pizzeria in Pennsylvania is Angelo's Pizzeria in Philadelphia, at 9.1.
