Cradles to Crayons’ Supporters Urged to Vote Daily in Campaign for $50,000 Community Project Grant
Cradles to Crayons (www.cradlestocrayons.org), the local nonprofit that addresses the poverty faced by area children, has been selected as the only finalist from Pennsylvania in the fourth annual Tom's of Maine "50 states for Good" program – earning a chance to win up to $50,000 in support of a community project that will provide everyday essentials to low-income and homeless children.
Cradles to Crayons is encouraging all its friends to support its efforts to bring this much-needed funding to the five-county southeastern Pennsylvania region by voting DAILY, now through October 9, at www.facebook.com/tomsofmaine.
The "50 States for Good" program seeks to uncover local nonprofit groups that address urgent community needs; promote healthy, human and environmental goodness; and engage volunteers to get the work done – efforts that parallel Cradles to Crayons’ mission.
