Save Hoy Park and the Perkiomen Creek

GET INVOLVED to help save Hoy Park and the Perkiomen Creek from destruction by installation of a large sewer pipeline!!  No Time to Waste! – Decisions will be made soon & once the Lower Providence side of the creek is destroyed there is no turning back.

Much better alternatives have been evaluated and for the same cost can prevent destruction of the park, historical sites, mature woodlands, wetlands, and condemning of personal properties.  By keeping the pipeline on the Upper Providence (UP) side and using the previously disturbed pipeline ditch the Lower Providence side of the creek will remain intact, no heavy equipment on Arcola Road for months, no blasting,  no well contamination, wetlands intact, no creek crossings, and condemning of numerous properties.  BUT, we need you to get involved – how?

  1) Attend the Lower Perkiomen Valley Regional Sewer Authority (LPVRSA) Meeting.

  2) Contact the following people & voice your concerns & let them know that UP is where the pipeline belongs.  (Middle Interceptor Plan Alternative 3)
