Ursinus College Wind Ensemble Presents a Spring Concert

The Ursinus College Wind Ensemble presents its spring concert on Friday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. The performance will take place in the Lenfest Theater at the Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Conducted by Holly Hubbs, Associate Professor of Music, the ensemble will present selections of standard and modern works for wind band. Included in the program will be Robert Russell Bennett’s Suite of Old American Dances, a classic from the wind ensemble repertoire. Newer pieces will include the Dark Knight Suite (transcribed from music from the original film score), Samuel Hazo’s Alleluia, and Arabian Dances, by popular contemporary composer Brian Balmages.
