Antioch Church in Conshohocken recently awarded 20 graduating high school students a $1,000.00 award for their achievements. The Antioch Scholarship Foundation (ASF) has been awarding high school students since 1999 from Plymouth Whitemarsh HS, Norristown HS, Methacton HS, Martin Luther King HS, and Kennedy-Kenrick HS. The awards are funded by an annual golf outing in the fall and church and community contributions. The ASF also awards scholarships to its church students in the fall.
The purpose of the Antioch Scholarship Foundation (ASF) is to promote leadership, cultural diversity, and community service in the surrounding area. The Foundation has benefited over 140 students to date and has established three programs to promote these purposes:
1) Antioch Community Scholarship
2) Antioch Christian Leadership Scholarship
3) Antioch Korean Heritage Scholarship
