Methacton Field Hockey and the Lower Providence Historical Society carried on the tradition of hosting the 3rd Annual BEST OF LOWER PROVIDENCE Competition.The restaurants in Lower Providence were asked to enter their pizza, cheese steak and specialty sandwiches to the competition. Thursday evening with a packed crowd at the Methacton vs Boyertown basketball game the competition took center stage. The Judges were Methacton High School Principal, Judy L. Landis, Assistant Principal, Dan Bontempo, Athletic Director, Paul Spiewak, Owner of Presidential Caterers, Augustus Mandracchia, and Health and Physical Education Instructor, Heidi Alderfer.The winners of this years competition were:Best Pizza - Mainstreet Pizzeria &amp; Grille/Carfagno'sBest Cheesesteak - Mainstreet Pizzeria &amp; Grille/Carfagno'sBest Specialty Sandwich - Collegeville Italian Bakery Pizzeria

Explore the Delaware River Watershed with Robin to delve into the importance of habitat in urban and suburban areas around issues such as stormwater management, clean drinking water, and climate resilience.
Hen will discuss our exciting <a href="https://www.audubon.org/mid-atlantic/projects/marshes-tomorrow" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Marshes for Tomorrow</a> initiative in Maryland’s salt and brackish tidal marshes, which constitute a unique environment of more than 69,000 hectacres at the interface of land and sea.
