Broken Railing Used As Weapon In 10-Person Norristown Street Brawl: Cops
An empty soda bottle started it all.

A street fight in Norristown in the early hours of Monday morning involved 10 people, according to police reports.
The incident occurred at about 3:20 a.m. on the 500 block of Barbadoes Street where a group of people were sitting together drinking on a porch, police said.
A different group of five men walked by and one threw an empty soda bottle toward the porch, according to police.

A verbal argument followed that, and the fight quickly became physical, police said.
A piece of the porch’s railing broke off during the fight, and the man who threw the soda bottle allegedly used it to beat one of the men that had been on the porch, according to police.

The man suffered a head wound and wore a blood-soaked shirt when police arrived on the scene.
After the fight, the group fled the scene toward Marshall Street, police said.
The main suspect is a Hispanic male in his 30s, who is about 5’7 tall and weighs about 200 pounds, according to police.
He was wearing a red shirt and left a black hat with a Redstone Grill logo on it at the scene, police said.
