Chesterbrook Academy Students Create Cards for Essential Workers

Pre-K students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Audubon recently presented handmade cards to a local police officer and his K-9 partner to thank them for all the work they do. During the visit, the officer spoke to students about the importance of supporting their community. To further give thanks to essential workers, students also made cards that were dropped off at a local fire station and hospital with messages letting them know how important and appreciated they are. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and showing gratitude for the essential workers in their community.
