Collegeville Home Burglarized, Police Say

COLLEGEVILLE, PA — Police are urging Collegeville residents to take precautions following a burglary in the area last week.

The incident occurred in the early morning of Sept. 24 on Eighth Avenue in the borough.

Police said the suspect or suspects entered the home through an unlocked first floor window.

It's not yet clear what was taken from the home.

"The incident is under investigation and we want to remind residents to take normal precautionary measures to keep all windows, doors and garage locked," police said in a statement.

An investigation is underway.
