Crash Closes Trooper Road

A serious crash has closed Trooper Road between Ridge Pike and Egypt Road.

At least four vehicles appeared to have been involved in the crash. One of the vehicles appeared to have left the roadway, while another came to rest up against a guardrail.

Montgomery County emergency radio reports indicated that some of the vehicles' occupants may have required extraction.

Ambulances remain at the scene. A Lower Providence officer at the crash scene said no patients had been transported from the scene of the accident as of 12:10 p.m.

The road is expected to be closed for some time while authorities conduct an investigation of the crash.
