Death Investigation In Lower Providence Park, But No Risk To Public

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — A large police presence in Lower Providence Township worried local residents Wednesday morning, but authorities later confirmed it was an investigation into a death and that there was no danger to the public.

The incident occurred at Eskie Park in the morning hours Wednesday.

The park was briefly closed as authorities investigated the incident.

Details were not made public.

"No foul play is suspected and there is no threat to the community," police said in a statement.

Eskie Park is located on 500 Church Road.
