Downed Trees Shut Down Ridge Pike

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Ridge Pike is shut down in both directions Friday morning due to downed trees.

The closure is in effect between Level Road and Eagleville Road in both directions, authorities said.

PECO and PennDOT crews are aware of the downed trees and are sending crews to address the situation.

Traffic delays should be expected as crews work to reopen the road. Township officials said they were hopeful the road would reopen shortly.
