Friday night, December 30th, between 11 PM and midnight, a driver left a neighborhood in Lower Providence Township after striking at least 2 parked vehicles. Police were able to stop the driver after a brief pursuit through the Township ending on Oakdale Avenue after the driver struck at least 2 mailboxes on the block. The first mailbox was embedded in large stones, likely causing severe damage to the vehicle. Police were unable to comment at the time of the driver's apprehension.
