This year we will be holding a Halloween event called Trunk or Treat. This is when parents and staff park their cars in our school parking lot. They open the trunks of their vehicles and decorate them. Then they pass out candy from their trunks. The event provides a safe family environment for trick or treaters. It will only be our Chesterbrook Academy Audubon, Preschool families who will be giving out the candy.
When it comes to decorating your vehicle, go all out decorating for Halloween, using pumpkins, spider webbing, spiders, brooms, bats,... use your imaginations to be creative.
NOTE: Participants may not use scary items, like blood, scary bats, scary witches, scary spiders, scary monsters, or gore. It's a good idea anyway, because so many of your trick or treaters will be preschoolers and toddlers.
Don't forget about a costume for yourself. The best and most interesting trunks have their owners dressed to match the theme.
This will take place in our school parking lot on Saturday, October 27, 2012. It will be 4:30pm to 6:00 pm.
There is a sign up sheet in the hallway, for all those who wish to participate decorating their cars. If you would rather not decorate your car, please feel free to just come to trick or treat.
NOTE: Keeping all the allergies in mind- Please No Candy with peanuts!
